Education attendance restrictions to remain in place after Government's recent announcement

As you may have seen in the Government’s recent announcement, the current measures in UK universities will be extended to at least 8 March.

This means that online learning continues until this date (week 9) for all courses other than the MBChB, social work and initial teacher training where face to face teaching is permitted. Students should remain where they are and not travel; staff working on campus should continue to do so only by exception - i.e. to prepare teaching activities, to undertake research activities and to provide key services. Our safety measures on campus, which include social distancing, face coverings, enhanced cleaning and test and trace, remain in place and important for all members of our community.

We are reviewing the guidance available from the Government and will give further detail via MyWarwick as soon as we can.

In the meantime: this isn’t welcome news for many of us and we know it is challenging. We remain as committed as ever to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our students, staff and neighbours, and we’re grateful for everyone’s support in keeping our community safe. You can continue to get wellbeing support through Wellbeing Support Services, our student support helpline and the residential life team on campus. There is also dedicated support for students who need to self-isolate.
