Dear Warwick students,

You may have heard that Coventry Police have charged one of our students over an incident on Tuesday when a blank-firing pistol was shot from a flat window in Broadgate, Coventry. No-one was injured during the incident.

While the University cannot comment further until all police and legal processes are complete, I wanted to let you know that we are offering all the assistance we can to the Police and the student involved.

You can contact Wellbeing Support Services, who are ready to offer you support, advice and guidance if you’ve been affected by the incident. I appreciate that this is distressing news, and the team are ready to talk to you. Visit the Wellbeing Support Services web pages to find out more about the services you can access.
