Report and Support: Annual Report 2023-24
Warwick is dedicated to tackling all types of unacceptable behaviour on campus, which is why we’re sharing the results of the 2023/24 Report and Support annual report.
The Report and Support platform allows online disclosure, with students and staff able to tell us about experiences that have affected them including bullying, harassment, discrimination, relationship abuse and sexual misconduct. It represents a trauma-informed and survivor-led institutional response to these issues, with support from our Students’ Union.
This allows us to ensure students are receiving the help they need.
Hear from Professor Stuart Croft, Vice-Chancellor:
We are deeply committed to the success of our Report and Support service, which is now in its fourth year of operation. It is encouraging to see that more staff and students are engaging with the service to seek assistance. The increase in named reports, reflects a strong level of trust in the service and helps us to provide more tailored support and guidance.
Transparency is a cornerstone of our commitment to the community, and we are dedicated to publishing annual data on the service’s usage. This ensures everyone remains informed about the way its run and the positive difference it makes.
This year’s report includes details about the training programmes we offer to staff and students, on standards of conduct and our Active Bystander programme. These initiatives empower our community members to recognise and direct those in need toward the appropriate support.
As a united community - comprising of staff, students, the Students’ Union, and local partners - we are steadfast in our dedication to fostering the highest standards of safety and support for everyone.
