Checklist for new students

Before you arrive


Enrolment tasks
Register for your IT Services Account
Upload a photo for your Warwick ID Card
Complete your course registration
Access the Enrolment Dashboard
Complete online Health Centre registration
To complete the above tasks, please visit: warwick.ac.uk/welcome/enrolment
If required, apply for a visa to enter the UK (international students only)
Check your funding and finance is in place. We have more information on our funding and finance pages
Open a bank account online (See information for Home students or International students)
Download the MyWarwick app on your mobile phone
Read the checklist of information about staying safe on campus
Check gov.uk advice on whether you will need to self-isolate on arrival (students travelling into UK only)
Check out what sports clubs and societies you can join
If you're under 25, get vaccinated against MenACWY. More information can be found at uwhc.org.uk/student-health
Read any emails received from the University - they'll have important information about your arrival

When you arrive


If you’re living in on-campus accommodation, follow your arrival instructions from Warwick Accommodation to collect your key
Follow self-isolation guidance if applicable (students travelling into UK only)
If required, collect your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) card
If required, request your Student Status letter online
Set up a UK bank account (if you do not have one already)
 Read a guide to ITS at Warwick

In your first week


Visit the Students' Union website and sign up to at least one sports club or society
Check out some of the events happening around campus. They are a great way to meet people and settle in
If you are an incoming Study Abroad student, attend your Welcome Meeting at the start of term
Go and explore campus - we have great study areas, cafes and green spaces. Find out more on our campus maps page
