Course Update for 2025
Important announcement: For the 2025/26 academic year, our MA in Literary Translation Studies will be offered as a specialised pathway within our MA in Translation and Cultures programme. This exciting development responds to the evolving needs of the translation profession while preserving all the core strengths of the original programme.
The Literary Translation Studies pathway retains the distinctive creative workshops, publishing industry insights, and theoretical foundations that have made this long-standing MA so valued. Students will continue to develop their literary translation skills under the guidance of our expert faculty while benefiting from enhanced opportunities.
Applications for 2025 entry should be made to the MA in Translation and Cultures. All offer holders and applicants for the MA in Literary Translation Studies will be contacted directly about this change.
