Visiting the University of Warwick

You are welcome to visit our campus and see for yourself what postgraduate study at Warwick is all about. We have a number of different ways for you to explore our campus, from bespoke PG Visits to departmental events. Whether you live nearby or further afield, you can connect with us through live chats, or through a Postgraduate Fair near you.

Departmental Events: Some academic departments hold open days and events for specific postgraduate programmes, these are fantastic opportunities to see campus and learn more about your chosen department and course. See below for upcoming events.

Independent Visits: If you cannot make an open day or PG visit, you are welcome to come and visit our campus at a time that is convenient for you on an independent visit.

PG Visits: Talk directly with your chosen department and explore our campus through a personalised university tour with a current student.

Our academic departments host information evenings, open days and course-specific events designed to enable you to learn more about your chosen programme and meet our academic staff. Below are our upcoming events. Can't find the department you're looking for, or can't attend the event? Warwick Business School (WBS)

Upcoming Open Days: We offer MSc and MBA open days and evenings throughout the year. These are ideal opportunities to visit us and find out more about our range of world class courses. Our open days include a taster lecture, information about recruitment and admissions, including scholarships, and an opportunity to network with current students and alumni.

Drop-in and meet: We will be holding drop in sessions at WBS, and at The Shard, London, to meet with prospective students who are interested in studying for an MSc or MBA at Warwick Business School.

Other departmental events: We also offer a range of online taster lectures / webinars for prospective students interested in our MBA, MSc, and DBA courses. To explore the different opportunities on offer, please visit the WBS website.

Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG)

Upcoming Open Days: Our next open days will be on Thursday 7th February 2019, Wednesday 10th April 2019 and Friday 21st June 2019. Before the open days you may wish to visit the University independently and we'd be happy to meet you and welcome you to the department (PG Visit registration above; and for WMG open days below).

Classics and Ancient History

Taught MA Taster Evening: Interested in a Taught MA? Please join us for an information evening with wine and nibbles, on Thursday 22nd November 2018, 5-7pm, in the Oculus building on main campus (room 01.02).

Social Sciences 

Centre for Teacher Education

Upcoming Open Evenings: We host open evenings once a month at the University of Warwick. These evenings are ideal if you have questions about the courses we offer, the routes available or the application process. The next open evening is on Thursday 15th November 2018.

Upcoming Taster Days: We host a range of taster days throughout the year. These are ideal if you'd like to experience a typical University teaching day on one of our PGCE courses. We offer taster days which are specific to Primary and Secondary programmes.

Life Sciences

Upcoming Open Days: During the year, you are welcome to visit one of our open days. Dates for these are yet to be confirmed, however you can find out more information on our Life Sciences Postgraduate Visits page. We also run drop-in visits throughout the year, if you would like to arrange one please fill out our booking form.

Online Open Days: If you cannot make the trip to Warwick, then visit our online open day to find out whether studying here might be for you.

Psychology (MSc Clinical Applications)

Upcoming Open Days: Our Open Day for MSc in Clinical Applications of Psychology will take place on Thursday 24 January 2019 at 12 noon.

Mathematics (including Mathematics/Interdisciplinary Mathematics MSc, MASt and PhD programmes)

Upcoming Open Days: Our next Mathematics Open Day will be on Wednesday 21st November 2018, including an opportunity to join current postgraduate students for their weely seminar and lunch, alongside hearing talks from the Director of Postgraduate Studies and some of our academic staff.

Mathematics for Real World Systems (MathSys MSc + PhD)

Upcoming Open Days: Our next open days are on 5th December 2018, 30th January 2019, and the 19th March 2019. Potential and current applicants are welcome to visit us at our open days. We will provide an introduction to the course, networking buffet lunch, forum talk, Q&A and informal interviews (to check your mathematical ability and motivations for considering MathSys).

Warwick Medical School (WMS)

Upcoming Open Days: Our open days give you the opportunity to learn more about studying medicine at WMS. You will be able to find out more about the application process, sample a taster clinical skills session, gain an understanding of course structure, how it is taught and hear from current students.

Our upcoming open days will be held on Wednesday 3rd April, Wednesday 29th May and Monday 17th June 2019. To register for one of these events, fill out the booking form.
