Yes, you can apply for multiple scholarships, just make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria for any scholarships you are applying for.

Yes, as long as the scholarships you are offered do not exceed 100% of the tuition fees and/or living costs the scholarships provide.

No. There is no need to include anything relating to this scholarship on your UCAS form.

No. You must first apply for a course at the university through UCAS. Within a few days of submitting your UCAS application form, if you are eligible for the Warwick Undergraduate Global Excellence Scholarship, you will be contacted directly by us and invited to apply for this scholarship. Separate information about applying to study can be found on our study pages.

You are required to have submitted an application to an eligible University of Warwick programme before the 31 January 2024. If you are eligible to apply for the Warwick Undergraduate Global Excellence Scholarship, you will be contacted directly with information on how to apply. The scholarship application form will remain open until 20 March 2024. You do not need to be in possession of an offer to study at Warwick when you apply for the scholarship.

Yes, you can apply before you receive a decision on your application. Scholarship applications will only be considered once offers have been released.

Yes you can. You will need to complete a new scholarship application for consideration.

Once you have submitted your application through UCAS, you can apply for this scholarship as soon as the applications system is open at the beginning of February 2024. You will be sent a link to apply in an email so please look out for this. You need to first register for a Warwick IT account and then many aspects of the form will be automatically filled for you with your details. The application form will clearly indicate any fields that need populating. The application form will include questions designed to assess your suitability for being awarded the scholarship. Please note it can take up to 48 hours to be allocated your IT account so please factor this into your time frame for applying.

A link will be included in the email sent to you, inviting you to apply to the scholarship.

Please note that your scholarship application is directly linked to the course that you have applied for and therefore we strongly encourage submitting a new application for each course you are applying for. If you are currently in the process of changing your course to study at Warwick then the scholarship application will automatically update and you do not need to do anything.

Whilst we are aiming to communicate scholarship decisions in advance of the UCAS deadline and you may not have made your decision on your firm and insurance choice institutions by the time we are notifying candidates of outcomes, please note that due to having a limited number of scholarships available, we cannot reserve scholarships for those who accept Warwick as their insurance choice.

These are linked to your application and demonstrate to us your fee status (Home or Overseas). Fee status is used in the selection criteria as this scholarship is only open to students who are classed as overseas for fees purposes. More information on fee status can be found on your offer letter and also on our undergraduate admissions FAQ pages.

You can save your scholarship application and can return to update or delete any part of it, at any stage until you submit your application, or until the application deadline passes. After this no further amendments can be made.

Yes, changing your course of study on your UCAS application may affect your scholarship application. If this situation occurs, please contact scholars@warwick.ac.uk as soon as possible.

No. The only exception is if you are currently enrolled on one of our International Foundation Programmes. In this case, you will be eligible to apply for the scholarship once you have submitted your application to progress to undergraduate studies.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to defer your scholarship. This scholarship is only valid for 2024 entry only.

The scholarship is valid for the full duration of your undergraduate studies, whether you are enrolled in a three or four year course, and you will be required to make suitable progress in your studies to retain the scholarship. Underperformance in your studies may result in your scholarship being withdrawn.

Yes, you will be able to take a year out in industry or participate in an exchange programme. Your scholarship will continue if the year in industry or exchange programme is an integral and compulsory part of your undergraduate degree and has a tuition fee attached for the year. A scholarship for those fees will be allocated in proportion to the scholarship value you receive. If it is an optional part of your degree, the scholarship will be paused until you return to your core studies at the University.

All students who need a visa via the Student Route to study at the University of Warwick are allowed to work for up to 20 hours per week during term time and full time during any vacation periods.
