Warwick Digital Ambassador (Social Media) Role

About the role

The Warwick Digital Ambassador (Social Media) role exists to give prospective and current students an insight into aspects of life at Warwick from a student’s point of view. The role does not have any regular commitments re: content creation as all work will be on a commission basis.

You may be contacted directly by the Social Media team or the Communities team to undertake a job if you are believed to be a great fit for the brief. Alternatively, some job briefs may be advertised to the pool of WDAs, and you can express interest if you would like to be selected to complete the task. Certain job briefs may have specific requirements, based on content, topic and intended audience, but this will be made clear in the advert for the piece of work.

Key responsibilities

This role could entail you being offered commissions that involve: creating vlogs about life on campus and your experiences at Warwick, and creating content specifically for our social media channels. You may also be encouraged to pitch video content ideas, and then film and edit the content if it gets approved by the social media team.

What we're looking for

    • Must be a current student at the University of Warwick

    • Ability to film and edit video content

    • Enthusiastic, positive, and passionate about sharing your university journey with others

    • Strong organisation skills, ability to meet deadlines and committed to your work

  • Visa holders: You can complete your Right to Work check online.
