About us

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Society has been assisting its members to achieve their Gold Award for well over a decade; we are one of only a handful of wholly student-run DofE centres.

We are here to help those who want to achieve the award, providing guidance for all 5 sections, and to get involved in a lot of different activities with like minded individuals. As a society our role is to support you through the Gold Award. We organise two Gold Award expeditions (which are less than half of the cost of most other organisations), and we recommend opportunities to help you complete your other sections. We also organise excellent socials as well!

In recent years we have merged with Coventry Scouts and become part of Bablake Scout Network. This means that when you complete the award, you will be completing it under The Scout Association. You do not need to have been a member of the Scouts before, and registering for the Scout Network is free and really easy. Being part of The Scout Association has enabled us to reduce our costs, whilst offering you more opportunities for volunteering, and residentials.

Whether you have never heard of the award before, are working through it or have already got your Gold award, you are more than welcome to join our society. Don't hesitate to contact us with any questions you might have, or if you want to get involved!
