As a postgraduate social work student at Warwick, I wrote my dissertation on the experiences of unpaid carers. I further pursued this interest both as a practitioner and as a PhD student and postdoctoral researcher at several UK universities. This has now culminated in a book which will be published by Palgrave Macmillan in July, 2024 entitled 'Inside the World of Older Spouse Carers'.
