I received my Ph.D. from the Universit of Warwick in 2012. I completed my MA in English at the University of Tokyo, Japan after finishing my LL.B. in Political Science at Keio University, Japan.

Thesis Title: Figured in Lively Paint: Eastern Decorative Art, English Aestheticism, and Consumer Culture 1862-1900
The aim of my PhD research is to reconsider British Aestheticism through the perspective of Eastern decorative art. Thesis abstact is here.
