    • Work Placement at The Traverse Theatre during the 2003 Edinburgh Fringe Festival

  • Bachelor of Creative Arts (2nd Upper- Theatre Studies) awarded by the Victorian College of the arts/ University of Melbourne
    • Subjects undertaken include Arts Management, Critical Studies in Culture and Creative Arts, Research Methodology

  • Public Relations Executive for the Panasonic-Media Development Authority Film Fiesta
  • Responsibilities include updating and collating the media database as well as organising and managing the Press Launch
    • Achieved Key Performance Indicators with coverage in local broadsheets, television interview; radio interview and various local magazines

2005 Jan -2006 Oct

  • Freelance Arts Writer for TODAY (Mediacorp Press Singapore)
  • Responsibilities include interviewing local and international artists as well as reviewing local and international arts performances; pitching articles examining issues relevant to the local arts scene and writing critical commentary on local arts festivals
    • Artists interviewed include Robert Lepage, Alexander McCall Smith, Marisha Pessl, Marie Chouinard, Camerata Salzburg
    • Performances reviewed include The Royal Ballet, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
    • Commentary Articles on the state of the arts in Singapore including examining the role of Museums in Singapore as well as the Singapore Arts Festival

2004 Apr- 2004 Dec

  • Sales Executive and Research Dramaturg for the Singapore Repertory Theatre
  • Responsibilities include managing, collating and updating all Corporate and Group Ticket Sales, managing clients and providing dramaturgical research for theatre productions
    • Further develop existing relationships with Schools through the introduction of school tours for children's productions
    • Creation of Drama Education Packs for The Scientists by Swiss playwright Friedrich Durrenmatt aimed at pre-university students
    • Provided dramaturgical research for production of The Immaculate Misconception by scientist and inventor turned playwright Carl Djerrasi
