Why Study Classics? Resources for SLT

rome.jpg

The ancient Classical world and its influential languages had an important impact on much of our Western culture, the languages we use to this day, and provide a fascinating, enjoyable, and highly beneficial area of education, one which every child deserves the opportunity of studying.

Hundreds of forward-thinking State Schools and Academies across the UK have already decided to introduce Classical subjects, with the financial assistance of charities such as Classics for AllLink opens in a new window, whose provision of grants and teacher training provides the perfect helping hand in introducing the study of Classics to interested schools.

We at the WCN are on hand to provide the advice and support you need in taking your first steps to introducing the study of the ancient world.
