Diversity, Equality, Inclusion, and Climate Crisis
The Department of English and Comparative Literary Studies at Warwick has a long-standing and unquestionable commitment to equality, diversity, and democracy. We incorporate equality into our core objectives, as well as scholarly and critical reflection on questions of gender, diversity, and ecology. This is reflected in all our undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
Undergraduate Study
We offer three main degrees:
English Literature, English and Theatre Studies, and English and History. Across all our teaching, we’ll help you to view literature as a way of seeing the world with more clarity.
Postgraduate Study
We offer four distinct MA programmes, and with a thriving cohort of research students working across literary studies, our department is a great place to pursue your research ambitions.
