All assignments for this module are governed by the rules and policies laid out in the English Department's undergraduate handbook. Please familiarise yourself with them, particularly the policies concerning academic conduct, deadlines, and over- and under-weight work - and contact the module convenors if you require any further guidance or clarification.

 

Formative work: Term 1 consists of two short, formative response papers (250-450 words each), which will be due on Wednesday evenings. These papers are not graded, but they must be turned in for satisfactory completion of the module.

Summative work: In Terms 2 and 3, graded assessment will begin, and will comprise:

• two 500-word responses - 5% each - due Wednesday 24 January 2024 and Wednesday 28 February 2024 - instructions here
• one 2,500-word essay - 50% - due Wednesday 13 March 2024 - instructions here
• one 2,000-word essay - 40% - due Wednesday 8 May 2024 - instructions here
