Conflicts of Interest and Private Work
The University's regulations regarding conflicts of interest and private work are:

All staff should familiarise themselves with these financial procedures, and the essential points to note are as follows:
- All members of staff must complete an FP1a (Conflicts of Interest Declaration) form, along with FP10a (Request to Undertake Private Work) form(s) if applicable.
- All staff must disclose a potential new conflict and must make their disclosure as soon as they become aware of it by completing or updating the FP1a form.
- All staff must complete or update their FP1a form annually.
- All staff requesting permission to undertake Private Work must apply by completing and submitting the FP10a form before the work is undertaken.
Any issues or queries with these procedures should be communicated to the Head of Operations in the first instance.
