Post
There is a post collection/in tray for the department on the reception desk by the department entrance to 5.42. Post is delivered and distributed to the pigeonholes located by the entrance door. Pigeonholes can be accessed by all staff who have card access to the department. Please check pigeonholes regularly. Any post to be collected from the department will need to have the department code stamped or written clearly on the item. There is now a new process in place where the postroom are notified of any collections by scanning a QR code. The QR code is situated on the wall just above the collection trays. Post will not be automatically collected every day. Please notify Andrea Humber or Dee Parker if you have large or costly items for posting before you leave them for collection.
Goods Deliveries
All goods ordered using department funding should be delivered directly to the department. However, due to issues with deliveries to the FAB building you can arrange for to be delivered to your home address, or any other alternative address, for the deliveries. Items delivered to the department must be collected in person as we are unable to arrange for these to be posted on to you.
Post or parcels not collected at the end of the academic year will be disposed of or returned to sender.
Personal Post & Parcels
All incoming and outgoing post and parcels should be for business purposes only. The University's postal services are not for personal use.
