Venetian Studies Seminar

Export as iCalendar
Location: Wolfson Research Exchange, Library 3rd Floor Extension

The Venetian Seminar is a peripatetic one-day workshop which has a long history of bringing together scholars of history, art history, literature and linguistics who study Venice and Italy.  It is convened on a yearly basis by Alex Bamji (Leeds), Filippo de Vivo (Birkbeck), and Mary Laven (Cambridge).  The Seminar brings together established scholars, early career researchers, and postgraduate students in a format designed to promote awareness of the latest research in the field, and to maximise discussion. This year’s seminar is hosted by Rosa Salzberg.

There is no registration fee, and lunch will be provided.  Thanks to the generosity of the Society for Renaissance Studies, there are several travel bursaries for postgraduate students who plan to attend: please contact Alex Bamji (a.bamji@leeds.ac.uk) for further details.

We should be grateful if you could notify one of the organisers if you plan to attend.

ALL WELCOME.
