What are the continuities and changes of food and drink production, distribution and consumption since the Middle Ages? How can we find out about the ever-evolving attitudes, tastes and fashions of people in the past? When did processes like urbanization, industrialization and globalization start to affect everyday diets? Where are food and drink studies today & how can interdisciplinary approaches advance them further?
