Dr James Poskett (Associate Professor in the History of Science and Technology) was recently featured in the 2022 Penguin General Showcase.

His forthcoming book, Horizons: A Global History of Science (Penguin, 2022), was selected to be included as part of an online event, which celebrates new books due to be published by Penguin General in 2022. Other featured authors included Ali Smith and Marlon James.

“Above all, Horizons is a celebration of the work of scientists neglected by history,” explained Dr Poskett.

Horizons will be published on 24 March 2022 by Viking (Penguin General) in the UK.
