Applications for a fully funded collaborative doctoral award are now open. The award funded by the AHRC via the Midlands4Cities Doctoral Training Partnership will start in October 2022. The Department of History has partnered with the Parliamentary Archives to offer a project on 'Contested sexualities: love, desire and the institution of Parliament in the long nineteenth century'. In addition to the PhD research the successful candidate will also gain experience and training in contributing to outreach activities, public engagement and diversity work for the Parliamentary Archives in London and in the Midlands.
