History External Module Form (2026-2027)
This form is for students where History is NOT your home department and you do NOT do a joint degree with History. This form is specifically for students who would like to take a History module as an outside option for 2026/27.
If you are a History or History joint degree student please use the History Module Selection form.
Please ensure you check your course syllabus carefully to ensure you know what modules you are required to take in the coming academic year and then fill out the form below.
The form opens at: 12pm (UK time) Wednesday 29 April 2026
The form closes at: 4pm (UK time) Friday 16 October 2026
Please ensure you confirm with your home department that you have permission to take your selected History modules as outside options and upload written permission from your home department to the form below.
Once you have submitted your form, the History modules team will let you know whether or not there is space on the module and if you have been successful in obtaining a place shortly thereafter. Please note that module spaces are offered to external students on a first-come-first-served basis. If the department is unable to offer you a space on your selected module(s), then you will be placed on a waiting list and notified if a space becomes later available for you. No students will be permitted onto History modules after the Term 1 Week 2 deadline.
