History Year Abroad Student Views
- The thing that surprised me the most was the generosity and friendliness of the international community in Paris. Every stranger seems to be keen to become friends.
- The teaching at Université Diderot was the hardest to adjust to. Lessons were three hours long with little to no interaction between the teachers and the pupils. I think my patience and ability to concentrate has improved in France as the three hour lessons were initially very difficult but slowly became easier.
Please note that not all institutions are available each year, and places will be allocated on a competitive basis. Partnerships may be added or withdrawn at any time, and are always subject to availability. The institutions available each year will be posted in the preceding Autumn Term.
