Contact
There are several ways to get in touch with teachers on this module.
Convenor
The module convenor is Dr. Michael Bycroft (staff page).
The easiest way to contact him is by email: m.bycroft@warwick.ac.uk
Michael is also available in person at these times, during term time (excluding reading week).
Wednesday 11-12pm
Thursday 12-1pm
Friday 12-1pm
Michael's office is FAB 3.75. This is on the third floor (the History floor) of the Faculty of Arts Building. This is in 'cluster B', which is the cluster near the top of the central staircase.
You do not need to make an appointment. Just turn up on the day and knock on the door. You will however need to email in advance if you'd like to meet on Teams during these office hours.
These office hours are open to all students on ETM, not just those in Michael's seminar groups.
Seminar tutors
Seminar tutors, like the convenor, can be contacted by email. Each tutor has their own weekly office hours, different from the convenor's office hours. You will learn about these hours in the early seminars of term 1.
Feedback
Feedback on this module is very welcome!
Feedback can be given in seminars, or by contacting the convenor or tutors as above.
There are also three anonymous feedback forms for the module:
All-year form. Can be filled out at any point during the year. Text will be sent anonymously to the module convenor.
Mid-year form. To be filled out in seminars in term 1, week 10. Tutors will leave the room for 10mins to allow students to do this. Responses will be sent anonymously to the module convenor. Feedback on seminars will also be shared anonymously with the relevant seminar tutor.
End-of-year form. Same as previous, but filled out in seminars in term 3, week 3.
The all-year form is available already. The other two forms will become available in the course of the year.
Feedback is different from complaints. To lodge a complaint, see the department-wide complaint page and complaint form.
