I was born in Osaka, Japan and have lived in various countries including the US and Singapore as a child. I completed my undergraduate degree in Japanese Linguistics with a focus on teaching Japanese as a foreign language. I attained a teaching qualification in the UK in 2007 and have taught GCSE and A-level Japanese in secondary schools. I joined the Language Centre in 2018 and teach the academic Japanese modules.
