Micheal Pigott to be interviewed for the Arts and Place NOW series of online conversations

Michael Pigott’s research supports Noise Quest livestreaming experimental music event on June 17.
Funded by the Connecting Cultures and Innovative Manufacturing and Future Materials GRP at the University of Warwick, Michael is working with Graham Dunning to investigate the sudden shift to online performance and livestreaming in the spheres of experimental music and club culture.

‘Queer’ Asia: Decolonisation and Russia - PhD researcher Misha Iakovlev has co-organised this event for International Women's Day
One of our PhD researchers, Misha Iakovlev, has co-organised a pair of screenings in London for International Women's Day (08 March). The event, ‘Queer’ Asia: Decolonisation and Russia, features the films Mavzhuda (introduced by in person by director Nimasu Namsaren) and Exciting Life. Tickets are free and can be booked here.
Alumni Ilaria Puliti has material from her MA dissertation published in Cineforum
Alumni Ilaria Puliti, who did her MA in the Department, recently won a film criticism competition with a chapter of her MA dissertation on Italian director Alice Rohrwacher. As a result, the material has been published as an essay in the latest issue of Italian cinema magazine Cineforum.
