Communicable Disease Control Evidence and Epidemiology

What We Do

CDCE2 is a collaboration between the University of Warwick, Public Health England, and Health Education England (West Midlands) to undertake and facilitate others to undertake work to better define and disseminate the evidence base for communicable disease control.

Our research aim is to support communicable disease control by bringing the most appropriate multidisciplinary research approaches to the best available data to address infectious disease questions of public health importance. This includes evidence synthesis, undertaking research using routinely collected data including jointly analysing different forms and sources of data, and the development and application of epidemiological and other methods.

Please contact us if you are interested to collaborate, spend an attachment with us as a public health, microbiology or related clinical trainee, or to apply for a research fellowship.
