Research into healthcare today can positively impact and change policies and healthcare systems for tomorrow. Our postgraduate level courses are suitable for anyone interested in pursuing health-related research. Our Health Research MSc enables you to learn the skills to conduct your research in the most efficient way possible, whilst our interdisciplinary programme has everything you need to get started.

Our portfolio covers a variety of specialist research methods, from epidemiology to mixed methods research, taught by experts currently undertaking research in their fields. If you are interested in postgraduate study based on undertaking your own research, please see our research degrees.

We are no longer accepting students for the MSc Health Research, and currently developing a new version of the course for 2024 entry. The changes will enable students to undertake a larger research project for dissertation which is more likely to have impact and achieve publication in an academic journal. It will be ideal for students and a range of healthcare professionals who want to start their health research journey or are on a research career trajectory. If you are interested in finding out more about this exciting, more hands on research programme, please register for updates.
