Group Meetings - Attendance is not optional

Group meetings take place every 2 weeks with 2 people giving updates. Everyone is to present at least once per year as an 'update on progress' or an introduction to their project (new starters). Guidelines are: 15-20 minutes talk with proper background and context including state of art, followed by project aims and progress (like a conference talk). To prepare for this please ONLY use the group template (a new version will be uploaded soon).

Meetings will start at 3pm.

Sub Group Meetings

Monthly meetings. Please bring along laptops and all data. During these meetings we will look at all new results and discuss issues as a team. 1:1 meetings will take place annually but if you do require a chat with MIG just contact via Slack.

General overview of Sub Group Meeting:

• Not polished presentations but real lab data, issues, and very fine detail like buffers etc.
• First drafts of papers with outlines of figures etc.
• Contributions required from everyone ie. new data/issues
