Caroline Moore Awarded Ph.D Scholarship
Congratulations to Caroline Moore, who has received a Life Science Interface scholarship to join us as Ph.D student from October. These are highly competitive and only awarded to excellent students.
URSS funds awarded
We have received funding from the URSS to allow an undergraduate student to join us over the summer.
Matt Gibson Interviewed for Polymer Chemistry
Matt was interviewed during the IUPAC World Polymer Congress 2011 (Glasgow), to discuss his review paper on the the use of polymers as synthetic mimics of Antifreeze Proteins.

4 New students join the team in October 2010
Welcome to the newcomers to the Gibson Group in October 2010. Robert Deller will begin a Ph.D (joint with Warwick Medical School/Coventry NHS trust), Caroline Moore and Daniel Phillips will be here for a year as part of their MChem studies and Bibianna Yeo joins us for a stay from NTU Singapore.
Kostis and Jin Present their IAMBEC Research
Kostis and Jin presented their IAMBEC research this week. Both had extremely successful (if a little challenging..) projects and may result in a publication or two. Well done to both of you!
