(2020-23) - BSc (with Honours)
(2023-Current) - PhD in Polymer Chemistry (Haddleton Group)
Current Research
- Anionic polymerisation of functionality-controlled Hydroxy-Terminated Polybutadienes (HTPBs)
- Synthesis of di/tri-functional organolithium initiators
- OH Functionality determination of HTPBs
- Curing of HTPBs with diisocyanates to form crosslinked polyurethane binders for use in rocket propellants
- Modifying ratios of diisocyanates with HTPB and monitoring changes in molecular weight in flow via GPC
- Measuring physical characteristics of cured polymers via DSC
- Measuring rheological changes of curing polymers
- Effect of antioxidants on rheological and kinetic characterstics of cured HTPBs
Future Work
Utilising flow chemistry to produce HTPBs and polyurethane binders in a time and cost efficient manner.
