Muxiu Li
Biography
Muxiu was born in Harbin, China, in November 1986. She joined a Study Abroad Programme during her undergraduate, and completed bacholer's degree in Heilongjiang University, China and University of Leeds, UK. She started her Master's Degree at University of Warwick in 2009, joined Professor David Haddleton Polymer Research Group during master's project, and continued her PhD study under the surpervision of Professor David Haddleton.
Research interest
Muxiu started her PhD in 2010, and is interested in synthesis of water soluble metal-containing polymers via living radical polymerization techniques. Her main project is to functionalize copper phthalocyanine with adhesive water soluble polymers for the application of personal oral care. This PhD programme is funded by EPSRC (Dorothy Hodgkin PhD Postgraduate Award) along with an industrial collaborator, which is Unilever with Dr Ezat Khoshdel as the industrial supervisor.
