Bio

Yongguang was born in Dalian, China and commence his chemistry studies at the University of Warwick, receiving his Master’s degree in 2017. He finished his final year project “Synthesis of pyridinyl-perimidinium threads and their subsequent association with dibenzo-24-crown-8 to form pseudorotaxanes” under the supervision of Dr. Guy Clarkson. In October 2017 Yongguang joined the Haddleton group to undertake his PhD studies on an industry funded project focusing on synthesising semi-fluorinated block copolymers via photo-induced RDRP.
