ARUP Open Evening
I graduated from Warwick in Summer 2011 and I am writing with regards to a graduate recruitment event for the group I now work in at Arup. The event for the Advanced Technology and Research practice will be held on 31st October 2012 from 5-7.30pm at our London Office. We are inviting students to come and gain an insight into the work we do, hear about some recent projects and meet some of our engineers over drinks and nibbles.
The invitation is open to final year engineering students (primarily mechanical, civil/structural, engineering science). Students are required to register for the event through our website and we will cover reasonable travel expenses for those who attend. (Note from Dr Price - ARUP will almost certainly be looking for graduates with a 2i degree or higher)

Unilever - Engineering Drop in sessions
On Tuesday 16th October, between 12pm and 2pm, Unilever will be based on the 1st floor Social Lounge of the Engineering department – and they are keen to talk to you!
The Unilever Engineering drop-in session offers undergraduate Engineers the unique chance to chat informally with a leading Graduate Recruiter about the Internship and Graduate opportunities available. This is not a bookable event, rather an opportunity to causally explore what can be achieved with your Engineering degree.
First Year Timetables
Individual student timetables will update overnight and from tomorrow (Thursday) will include optional modules and design projects. You can obtain your personal timetable from the student links on the right-hand side of the timetable page.

Emergency and Support Links
For emergencies or urgent safety concerns, please contact the University 24-hour Community Safety line: +44 (0)2476 522083. Community Safety operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
In the event of an emergency on campus requiring ambulance, police or fire brigade, call 22222 from an internal telephone. If you are on campus and you use a mobile to call for an emergency service (999), you should also then call 024 76 5 22222. This alerts the University Community Safety team and will enable the emergency vehicle to be speedily escorted to where it is required on the campus.
If you're struggling but it's not an emergency, please contact Wellbeing.
