What is a live chat?

The School of Engineering hosts live chat sessions throughout the academic year that are managed by staff and student ambassadors from our department. These sessions are open to all and enables prospective students from the UK, EU and internationally to enquire or ask questions relating to the Engineering courses we offer.
Who am I messaging?

Each Undergraduate live chat is administered by a member of staff, often an Engineering academic or a an administrative member of staff responsible for recruitment or marketing. Postgraduate live chats are normally administered by a member of our Postgraduate administrative team. There may also be Engineering student ambassadors available to chat. At the beginning of the live chat session, they will introduce themselves to make you aware who they are.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

We have listed questions in our FAQs section that have been asked by prospective students, parents and others who have engaged with us through our live chat sessions about applying for Undergraduate and Postgraduate study.
