New bone implant technology for tissue engineering

A method of producing synthetic bone, using techniques normally used to make catalytic converters for cars, is being developed by researchers at WMG at the University of Warwick.

Prime Minister opens new Digital Lab

25 July 2008: Prime Minister Gordon Brown today opened the University of Warwick's flagship building -  the Digital Lab - using "virtual scissors" to cut a ribbon in cyberspace. The £13 million Lab, the brainchild of Professor Lord Kumar Bhattacharyya, director of international research and education group WMG, has been two years in construction with top international academics taking occupation this week.
