My teaching philosophy and pedagogical research is: To continue to develop my teaching style to facilitate student learning through providing a facilitative but challenging learning environment that allows students to develop subject knowledge and lifelong learning skills. I am particularly aware that this statement is easy to write, but requires a high degree of reflexivity and a great deal of hard work to achieve. In essence the manner in which I strive to achieve this way of working is by using examples and providing commentary on various elements, which together drive student learning and my teaching practice.
