Innate immunity and effector-triggered immune suppression

In animals, there are both innate and adaptive immune systems, whereas in plants there is only one innate immune system. Various approaches are employed to investigate immune system suppression by effectors and plant innate immunity, including luciferase imaging and chlorophyll fluorescence imaging to capture real-time responses.

Our PhD student Nestoras and Post-Doctoral Researcher Alice are working on this. Feel free to contact them for more information!
