Outreach events for schools
We run a fantastic range of events for secondary school pupils with an interest in mathematics – particularly those in Years 10 and 12 – and are always keen to help inspire the next generation of maths students! We also have plenty of resources both for students and for teachers, and have lots of world-leading academics who love coming to speak to young people about mathematics.

Year 13 TMUA preparation - Wednesday 24 September & Wednesday 1 October (5-6.30pm)
Are you preparing to take the TMUA exams, either as a requirement for your desired university course or to enhance your application? Come along to one or both of these live, online sessions where we will take questions from past papers and look at how to approach them, giving insights and tips along the way.
Problem Solving and Inspiring KS4 Students - Wednesday 22nd October (4-5.45pm)
In this online PD session, Fiona Kitchen (University of Warwick) will explore some pedagogical considerations for teaching Problem Solving in a way that equips students as mathematical problem solvers and for future maths-based study.

Mathematical Problem Solving Classes for Year 12 Students - January-March (4-6pm)
Weekly, face to face, 2-hour classes developing mathematical problem-solving skills
Maths at University an Afternoon for Year 12 - Wednesday 11 February (1-4pm)
Enrichment afternoon for year 12 students – students can apply directly or teachers can apply for a group (or themselves)
Maths and Beyond - Tuesday 24 March (9-3.20pm)
A day of enrichment for year 10 students considering taking Maths, Further Maths or Core Maths at AS or A level

Sutton Trust Summer School
A residential programme hosted on our campus for Year 12 students.
