Openness and sharing the results of health research has become a major focus in the scientific world. Creating these web pages specifically for patients and the public is one way of improving this.

A user group has been formed to contribute to the development of these webpages to make finding out about the results of local health research studies easier.

The user group currently includes members of the public who volunteer to raise awareness about health research, known as National Institute for Health Research (Public) Research Champions. They have made suggestions around the design and content of the pages. They will continue to help to build upon the web pages so that they are relevant, providing the information that patients and the public are looking for when it comes to health research.
