Milk is provided. Please bring your own coffee, tea, crockery and cutlery. Most kitchen areas provide hot water, microwaves, toasters, fridges, and dishwashers.
Porters
The porters are Tony Rollings (all week a.m. only) and Seth Bailey (Wed-Fri all day). They are responsible for all the post, keys, room set up, office moves etc.
The Porters' Office is Room A129 on the first floor of the Medical School Building, with office hours 0800-1600. They are contactable by email at

Reception is the first point of contract for all visitors to the Medical School.
Located in the Medical Teaching Centre, Reception is open from 8:30-18:00 hours Monday-Friday. Telephone ext. 74880.

Resources Room
The Resources Room A135 is on the first floor of the Medical School Building, access code 1987.
Pigeonholes for MSB-based staff are located here.
You can also find basic stationary supplies, the shredder and photocopier/printer. Please contact Reception if further stationery supplies are needed.

If you can't find a room for the time you need, try the central timetabling system, where you can book rooms on Gibbet Hill or across campus.

Ordering computers
Computers should normally be ordered on a research costcode. Please liaise with your Unit Coordinator to order the equipment. A step-by-step guide is available on the WMS IT pages.
If there is no research funding available for the laptop, please discuss with the Divisional Manager and she will liaise with Julie Sherriff. WMS IT will then arrange the purchase of the equipment.
