My current research interests include evidence synthesis, systematic review methods, test accuracy, psychology applied to health screening, and bias in evidence.

Biography

I am a Senior Research Fellow in Warwick Screening (University of Warwick) and co-Director of the Warwick/Birmingham Screening Evidence Synthesis Group. My research is oriented around health screening, in particular evaluating evidence to inform health policy and practice. My work has fed into recommendations by the UK National Screening Committee, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, and the World Health Organisation. I am co-lead of Warwick's Health Screening module (a collaboration between Warwick Medical School and the UK National Screening Committee) and teach on the ethics of health screening.
