Dr Giok Ong just started working for the University of Warwick as a Senior Research Fellow April 2011. Before that she worked for three years as an epidemiologist on UK Biobank at CTSU Oxford University, which is a very large flagship UK wide medical research initiative. For the past 15 years she has worked in population based quantitative research at the University of Oxford where she also completed her D.Phil at the Department of Public Health and Primary care . During he time at Oxford she has led teams and has been successfully involved in all aspects of Project design, funding, and execution including verbal presentations and writing articles in peer reviewed journals. During her career she has worked in a variety of specialisations and research designs. including breast screening, criminology, patient based outcome measures, cognitive behavioural therapy
