IGPP Enhanced Research Expenses Form
The IGPP has a flexible Enhanced Research Expenses scheme. All IGPP students are eligible to apply for funds (up to a maximum of £4,000 per application). Examples of eligible categories are given below:
1. Laboratory-related costs e.g. small equipment, key consumables
2. Exceptional training opportunities, such as overseas fieldwork, internships, placements and training in new advanced research skills
3. Help with data collection e.g. surveys, data access fees
Applications for funding are encouraged throughout the year using the following process:
- Seek support from your supervisor.
- Complete the application form, outlining the ways in which the activity will support your research and skills development.
- Applications should be submitted at least 1 month before the start of the training activity.
- Applications will be considered by the IGPP Management Committee and applicants will be informed of the outcome in writing.
