Student engagement
At Warwick we recognise the talents and experience of our graduate students and encourage staff-student collaboration wherever possible. Ideas from students are always welcome and have contributed to significant change within the course and culture at WMS.
Peer Support
Our students are amazing at helping each other; whether it's older years arranging weekly peer support sessions, society-run skills events, or non-scientist teaching where students help their peers from arts and social science degrees get their scientific knowledge up to scratch.
Medical Education Certificate
For our students who love to teach, and help their peers via non-scientist teaching, support groups, practical exams sessions, and more.
This certificate programme is a student initiative, with WMS graduate Clarissa Brierley awarded a national JASME innovation award for her work on the project.
Leadership Fellows
Warwick is the first medical school to become accredited by the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management for its role in helping produce the medical leaders of the future.

Research Opportunities
Throughout the curriculum, there are many opportunities for students to get involved with clinical and academic research.
Many students take advantage of contacts at the University and Hospitals to get involved in a variety of extra-curricular research projects too.
Student MB ChB Opportunities
There are many opportunities to get involved with the running of the Medical School; we take pride in giving students a variety of forums where they can input their ideas.
From committees, working groups to tackle specific problems, student participation in curriculum away days, and even student positions on interview panels.
We have a very active Student and Staff Liason Committee (SSLC), shortlisted for SSLC of the year 2020.
