Ethical approval and permissions

  • This is an internal course conference, designed to share experiences and good practice with others involved in the education of Warwick medical students. Therefore evaluations and quality improvement projects can be shared. Appropriate information should always be provided to participants and consent gained for any data collected. Please do not report quotations if participants did not consent to this. It may be possible to summarise and paraphrase, for example, to communicate your evaluation findings. Please contact us if you have any questions.
  • Please note that research studies involving human participants need appropriate ethical approval. See, for example, the University of Warwick's 'Do I need ethical approval?' page.
  • Please state the ethical approval / permissions for the work you are reporting, or that ethical approval was not required, at abstract submission and on your presentation slides / poster.
