The Warwick Doctor
In 2020, two of our MB ChB students, Jennifer Paxton and Rebecca Hui won an art competition depicting the qualities that make the Warwick Doctor so special. Their concept acknowledges the beauty of Tocil wood in which the campus is set by using a branching tree as a key feature amid a bed of iconic bluebells. It was chosen to represent the growth and development of the students at WMS. As the Warwick Doctor grows individuals will eventually branch off to their own specialities but they will always share the same core values that are deeply rooted.
The students worked with designers Astwood to realise the concept into this installation. We are delighted that the artwork has finally been installed in the MTC reception for everyone to enjoy, following delays due to Covid. It is looking fantastic and well worth going to see if you are on campus. If you are working or studying remotely you can enjoy the photographs on our slideshow.
