International Transfers
Warwick Medical School has international transfer programmes with the American University of Antigua and the International Medical University. Students who are eligible to transfer join from Year 2 (to complete phase 2 and 3) of the WMS MB ChB course.
American University of Antigua
American University of Antigua (AUA) College of Medicine - high achieving students now have the opportunity to transfer to Warwick Medical School (WMS) and obtain their degree by completing their basic sciences at AUA College of Medicine. Students who partake in the AUA WMS transfer programme will receive their medical degree from the University of Warwick.
AUA offer a four and a half year medical degree course with the opportunity to transfer to the WMS MB ChB course following two and a half years of preclinical studies at AUA. Transferring AUA students join Year 2 of the WMS course in September each academic year, studying in Warwick for three years in total.
AUA have over 20 different scholarships available to support students.

AUA students pay fees from their point of arrival until they graduate. They therefore pay fees at the rate for year 2 to 4 of the Undergraduate medical course.

International Medical University
Students with a first degree on entry may transfer from International Medical University (IMU) to Warwick Medical School after two and a half years at IMU. Students without a first degree need to spend another year to complete the IMU Bachelor of Medical Sciences (Hons) to be eligible to transfer.
IMU offer a five or six year medical degree course with the opportunity to transfer onto the WMS MBChB following two and a half or three years study at IMU. Transferring IMU students join Year 2 of the WMS course in September each academic year, studying in Warwick for three years in total.
