Seymour Prize for excellence in the 3rd year graduating BSc Physics class

Rowlands Prize for excellence in the 3rd year graduating BSc Maths & Physics class

Excellence in the 3rd year graduating Physics with Astrophysics BSc class

4th Year

Styles Prize for excellence in the 4th year graduating MPhys Physics class

Marsh Prize for excellence in the 4th year graduating Physics with Astrophysics MPhys class

Excellence in the MPhys/MMathPhys project

From 2026, the department instigated the Physics Distinction List to celebrate academic excellence in our undergraduate students. Each year, roughly the top 10% of each cohort is recognized by this award.
