Reza Kashtiban has been conferred the Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA/Advance HE)Link opens in a new window through the Academic and Professional Pathway for Experienced staff.

This award represents a professional recognition aligned with external standards. It is part of a continuing professional development program accredited by Advance HE, which confers the status of Associate Fellow, Fellow, Senior Fellow, and Principal Fellow.

Reza states, “Achieving my FHEA accreditation through the APP EXP was a transformative experience that encouraged me to engage in profound reflection on my teaching practices, acknowledge my strengths, and identify areas for improvement that I had previously overlooked. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my mentor, Professor David Leadley, for his exceptional guidance, invaluable feedback, and unwavering encouragement throughout the process.
